How to make 'Mulled Qi'

Is there anything better than a hot cup of Qi tea when it is chilly outside we hear you cry?!

YES! Mulled Qi!

Even better, it is ‘oh so simple' to prepare, and even easier to sup.

Get your favourite teapot ready! You are in for a real treat…. we made this using our White & Spicy as the flavours are enhanced so much due to the ingredients. Our Qi White & Spicy Tea is a warming combination of cinnamon and spice. The combination of tea (green or white) with cinnamon is often recommended to control sugar levels. The delicate sweetness of authentic Qi White tea and cinnamon deliciously blended with warming cloves and ginger and enhanced with the light taste of orange…so just imagine it mulled!

Let’s go…

Ingredients:

  • Choose your favourite Qi Tea (we personally love White & Spicy) x2 bags

  • A cinnamon stick

  • 3 whole cloves

  • 1 Star anise

  • 2 vanilla pods

  • Serve with a slice of orange

Directions:

Boil up the water, and fill your pot so it’s nice and warm, then discard.

Pop all of the ingredients into the pot, leave to steep for 3 mins.

Remove the tea bags, and leave the rest of the ingredients in the pot for a further 3 mins, remove and serve!

And that’s it! A delicious, winter warming drink! Ideal for these colder days.

Even better the ingredients are said to have such wonderful benefits….

Cinnamon is said to lower cholesterol, cloves are great for your teeth and mouth, star anise is great for after dinner indigestion and fabulous for the digestive system, vanilla is a natural anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants.

Enjoy!
